CrushOn AI Review: The Short Version

CrushOn.ai is one of the bigger uncensored AI chat sites, and it’s been around since 2023, which is ancient in this business. You pick a character (or build your own), then you flip the NSFW switch and start sexting. Unlike Character.AI, there’s no filter nagging you every third message.

So is it worth it? For text roleplay, mostly yes. The free plan is enough to test it properly, the cheapest paid plan is under six bucks, and the character library is huge. Still, it falls down on everything around the chat: replies on the free models are short, the credit system takes a while to figure out, and privacy is nothing to brag about. More on all of that below.

What Is CrushOn AI?

You’ve seen AI sex chat sites before, those pages full of sexy avatars promising uncensored conversations. CrushOn.ai is one of the better-known ones, and it’s run by a company called Techiepie Ltd out of Cyprus. Basically, it’s a chatbot platform where users create characters, write their personality and backstory, then publish them for everyone else to chat with.

In other words, the library isn’t made by the site, it’s made by the community. That explains why there are thousands of bots, and also why some of them are… a lot.

The site keeps getting bigger, too. The tag system was reworked a while back, so finding the properly dirty bots is quicker, and thumbnails now cycle through several images. On top of that, they’ve lately piled on group chats, voice messages, multiple storylines per character and “World Cards”, which are basically lorebooks you attach to a chat so the AI remembers the setting.

When you land, you choose whether you want male, female or non-binary characters, and then that’s all the site will show you. Of course you can switch whenever you like. Also, sign up early and set your name, because nothing kills the mood faster than a bot calling you “user”.

Is CrushOn AI Free?

Yes, and in fact it’s one of the more generous free plans around. You get unlimited chat on the free models, plus 100 credits a month to try the Pro ones. You also get 20 “inspiration replies” a day, where the AI writes your next message for you. Besides that, logging in daily earns CrushOn coins, which you can trade for bonus messages.

However, the catches are real. Free models run on 8K memory, so characters forget things fast and long roleplays fall apart. The free servers are shared too, so replies slow down at peak times.

And this one surprised me: on the free plan your chat history gets deleted after 7 days of inactivity. So if you go on holiday for a week, your favorite storyline is gone.

CrushOn AI Pricing in 2026

Prices have gone up since we first reviewed it. Back then the cheapest plan was $4.99 and there were three tiers. Now there are five paid plans, and everything runs on message credits.

Each message costs credits, and the better models cost more per message. Every paid plan can use both Pro and Ultra models, so the real difference is how many credits you get and how long the AI’s replies can be.

If you pay yearly, it gets a lot cheaper, up to 47% off. For example, Premium drops to $7.90 a month ($94.88 a year), Luxe to $25 a month ($299.99 a year) and Elite to $799.99 a year, which works out at about $67 a month.

Premium on the monthly plan is also currently marked down from $19.99, so I wouldn’t count on $14.99 sticking around forever.

Credits and the Chat Package

The old Deluxe plan with unlimited messages has been retired. So if you read somewhere that CrushOn has an unlimited option for $30, that’s history.

Instead, the closest thing now is the Pro Chat Package: $39.99 a month, or $24.99 a month paid yearly. It goes on top of any subscription, and then it makes the Pro models unlimited without touching your credits.

Also, watch out for how fast credits go. Regenerating a reply or hitting “continue” costs double, and every message in a group chat counts double too. When you run out, you can buy extra credit packs.

Which Plan Should You Pick?

Standard is enough to find out if you like it. After that, Premium on the yearly plan is the sweet spot, because it’s under eight bucks a month for 6,000 credits. Luxe is where you can finally adjust reply length, which matters if short replies drive you nuts.

Elite and Imperial, on the other hand, are for people who basically live on CrushOn. After all, $90 to $200 a month for text chat is hard to justify when some of the alternatives further down do more for less.

Billing and Refunds

You can pay by card, PayPal or SubscribeStar. Some payment methods are one-off annual payments that don’t renew, which is handy if you hate subscriptions. However, the current billing period isn’t refundable once it’s started, so cancel a few days before renewal if you’re on the fence.

Jump into Unrestricted Sex Chats

One of the best things on CrushOn AI is the memories. These are chats other users decided to share, and you can hit “load memory” to jump straight into the middle of a scene without setting up any context yourself. Knowing this crowd, nearly all of them are XXX. It’s a lazy way to get going, but I mean that as a compliment.

Still, my gripe hasn’t changed much since the first review. On the cheaper models the replies are short and a bit flat. Besides, the formatting keeps jumping between italics and <brackets> for actions, which pulls you right out of it. The better models fix most of that, and from Luxe up you can raise the max reply length, but you’re paying for it.

How to Turn On NSFW on CrushOn AI

CrushOn has three content levels. Filtered is safe for work, while Unfiltered allows NSFW text and suggestive images. Finally, 18+ allows NSFW text and explicit images. To see the NSFW characters, flip the “Unfiltered” switch on the home page.

For the 18+ stuff, though, you’ll probably have to verify your age, because it’s not just a checkbox anymore. You can do a quick selfie check through a company called Didit (free, about 20 seconds), upload an ID, or pay $0.99 with a card in your name.

The paid option at least comes with some freebies: diamonds, coins and a 5-day Standard trial. Some US states require an ID no matter what. And of course anything involving minors is banned outright, so don’t even try.

Which CrushOn AI Model Is Best?

CrushOn gives you a whole menu of models instead of just one. There are Free, Pro and Ultra models, each in different memory sizes (8K, 16K, 24K, and a new 32K). The lineup changes a lot, but it includes versions of DeepSeek, Claude, Gemini and GPT. Each model also shows a little stability and speed indicator, so you can see which ones are struggling that day.

Among the free models it honestly doesn’t matter much which you pick, since they’re all fine for a quick scene. If you care about long roleplay, however, memory size matters more than the model name. A 16K or 24K model remembers what happened a hundred-plus messages ago instead of asking your name again.

Ultra models aren’t available on the free plan, but any paid plan can use them with credits. The 24K ones, though, need Elite or higher.

Can CrushOn AI Generate Images or Voice?

Images are where CrushOn shows its age, because it’s a text-first site. Unlike Candy.ai or OurDream AI, you can’t type “send me a nude” and get a custom picture.

Instead, it has character albums: the creator uploads images and sets trigger words, and then when the chat hits them the image pops up. Some creators also lock theirs behind paid unlocks using CrushOn’s diamonds.

Voice, on the other hand, is much better than it used to be. Characters can read their replies out loud, and you can send voice messages instead of typing. Your recordings get deleted after 24 hours, while the text stays. On top of that, higher plans let you clone a custom voice for your character. Still, if images are the main reason you’re here, skip to the alternatives.

Is CrushOn AI Safe?

Safe as in “will I get a virus”? Yes. It’s an established site, it runs on HTTPS and there’s no malware or scam stuff going on.

Safe as in “is my data private”? That’s a different question. Mozilla’s Privacy Not Included team put CrushOn on its list of romantic AI chatbots with poor privacy practices. Your chats stay private unless you publish them, and the age check is handled by Didit, who say they delete your photo or ID right after. Even so, don’t treat CrushOn like a diary.

Here are a few simple rules:

• Keep your real full name, address and workplace out of the chats
• Sign up with a separate email, but use a real one, because CrushOn can’t reset passwords on throwaway addresses
• Don’t share anything you wouldn’t want leaked
• When you’re done with it, cancel any active subscription first, then delete the account in Profile > Settings > Delete Account. After that you still get 3 days to change your mind

Is There a CrushOn AI App?

Not in the app stores, no. There’s nothing on iOS at all, and on Android the only way is to download the APK straight from the CrushOn site. Apple and Google don’t love NSFW chat apps, so that’s not exactly a shock.

Honestly, the mobile browser works fine, so that’s how I’d use it, iPhone or not. You can also add it to your home screen so it opens like an app. If you do want the Android app, though, get the APK from crushon.ai and nowhere else. The “CrushOn mod APK” downloads floating around are a great way to get malware and a terrible way to get free Premium.
